Three finely executed engravings of dragon motifs "naga" in negative with straight lines engraved as positive to enhance the effect of the work. Two bands , one on top of flowing concentric plant motif and the other at the bottom, straiglt lines arranged in tight squares in a mat-weaving fashion, both finely executed as well. Platted rattan bindings on top and bottom. Lid tightly fitted and carved with a 16 pointed star with a protruding tip.
